Metro’s Certification Unit has been made aware that many of Metro’s DBE/SBE firms have been receiving phishing emails requesting annual update information be submitted. We ask that if emails are not from @metro.net or @gob2g.com that you DO NOT respond to or open any attachments contained within the email, DO NOT forward the email, and that you immediately delete the email and remain diligent of future attempts.

There has been NO unauthorized disclosure or compromise of the metro.gob2g database. If you are ever in doubt about the validity of a message from us, we encourage you to contact us at certificationunit@metro.net or your certifying agency for verification and confirmation.
